How often should I book my dog in to be groomed?
6 weeks is the recommended time frame for regular grooming appointments. However, certain factors can allow for longer or shorter durations in between appointments. For example an inside dachshund may get deshed every 2 weeks to minimise hair dropped in the home. Whereas a Maltese that is clipped very short and has a slow hair growth rate may get groomed every 8 – 12 weeks. Mr Clippy will be able to help you decide the best schedule for your dogs hair health.
Does my dog or puppy need to be fully vaccinated?
It is a requirement that all dogs and puppies be vaccinated before they can safely be groomed. Whilst sterilisation is practiced on tools and spaces exposed to other dogs, it is not a guarantee that your dog will not come in contact with something potentially harmful.
